Kimkey Cajun Shrimp Boil: Flavorful Cajun Seafood Experience in Indio

If you love seafood this is the place to go. Had the seafood boil with crab legs and shrimp. It was delicious. And the customer service is excellent. They never disappoint. Thank you Kimkey staff.

After reading the reviews and having a strong yearning for seafood we ventured to what will forever be known as “our favorite” in Indio, CA. The staff were amazing, helping the landlocked midwesterners to the perfect boil for everyone at the table. One boil was peeled shrimp with snow crab (pictured) kimkey style MILD while the other boil for the table was peeled shrimp with sausage MED kimkey style. Both boils were perfect the MILD had enough flavor to make it appear spicy while not leaving behind to much heat, and the MEDIUM was a perfect balance of flavor with spice. Corn was sweet with just enough spice and potatoes melted in your mouth. I only wish we could come back sooner rather than later…but will wait on bated breath for our yearly trip next year to come visit again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love KimKey Seafood Broil ! absolutely delicious! The staff is super friendly, attentive, and on their toes the entire time. Ordering is quick and easy, and they make sure you have everything you need. My kids love the seafood broil and I love that you can ask for the shrimp peeled, so no messy hands! The calamari rings are always perfectly crispy, and my absolute favorite dish is the Salta Pa’ Trás — I’m obsessed! It has sliced scallops, tender octopus (cooked perfectly), shrimp, and steamed crab legs, all covered in this insanely good sauce. I always order an extra side of crab legs because they’re that good! It’s totally kid-friendly and great for anyone who doesn’t eat fried food — they have fresh options like ceviche that are bomb. Their drinks are also delicious and super refreshing. I live in Cathedral City, and it’s 100% worth the short drive to Indio. The owners are so friendly and attentive — you can really tell they care about their customers. Highly recommend this place to anyone in the Coachella Valley!

When you think about good seafood you think seaside! My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with our food!! We had shrimp, crawfish, mussels, snow crab, corn, sausage, potatoes, and calamari with mild Kimkey seasoning! It was a 10 out of 10 for me. It was fresh and flavorful. The service was on point. Each of the ladies that walked by made sure we were ok and made sure our drinks were refilled. The owner came out and said hello as well! The atmosphere was fun and you can tell everyone was enjoying their food! The was a great experience! Please don’t change what you do! You made us feel like we were at our Tia’s backyard party!! Can’t wait to come back!!

Great Flavor. Good deal on shrimp on Mondays and Thursdays. Quick service and everyone is enjoying their food. Kim is great stopping at tables, making sure we have everything we need. The menu has a good selection of seafood . We had the bag of shrimp head on, with clams and king snowcrab legs. Along with the sausage, potatoes, and corn. With the mild sauce and on the side, I asked for a spicer sauce because we had our 4 year old daughter with us and wanted her to enjoy the food as well. Ordered the toast, rice, and kalamari as sides, and it was a great addition to our seaboil bag. Kimkey shrimp seafood boil is a great addition to our restaurant selection in the Valley. I am proud we have a great one in Indio. I will be coming back with my family and friends.

Absolutely amazing seafood boil! Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. You can truly taste the quality in every bite. The customer service was outstanding, and the owner is incredibly humble and welcoming—personally making sure every guest is well taken care of. This place is a must-try!

Great atmosphere and rapid service. Food was delicious and so were the drinks. Only wished the margaritas were not mostly ice. Also, the server didn't get 1/2 of sausage in the seafood bag. I told them and they eventually brought it and was comp with a birthday celebration and ice cream.

Fast and friendly service and the food was soooooooo good. We will definitely be back. The loaded fries for lobster are definitely something to try!
